Travel tips for your holiday on Anafi
Tip 1 - Walking
Anafi is a walker's paradise, so get some stout boots and a walking stick. It is very hot, so wear light clothing in summer. Wear long trousers to protect from the bushes. Wear a hat and don't forget plenty of water !
Tip 2 - Swimming in the nude
Skiny dipping is acceptable off season on most remote beaches.
Tip 3 - Island hopping
Anafi is not the ideal island to be set as a basis for island hopping. Ferry connections are fewer than normal. There are several islands you can visit with Anafi as a starting point and these are Santorini, Ios, Folegandros, Sikinos, Paros, Naxos, Mykonos, Syros, Kythnos and Kea. Good planning is essential.
